I finished watching season 3 of Sex Education and I’m pleasantly surprised to see that a lot of people felt the same way I did.
I’ve been so tired of Otis and Maeve. I hate how anyone that dates them ends up becoming a plot device. Jackson and Ruby are good characters and they deserved better.
I think I just don’t like that Otis and Maeve are the main couple, when it’s clearly obvious they have better chemistry with other people. The writers just purposefully make their other relationships fail.
(Even when Jackson and Maeve broke up in Season 1 it seemed so forced to me.)
Otis and Ruby was one of the best couples I’ve seen in this show. Unfortunately it was inevitable that it wasn’t going to work out because in the end “Otis still loves Maeve”.
Like what?? I felt like they barely interacted this season, even when they did have their moments I got nothing from it. The build up was shit.
Otis x Ruby was far more interesting and was one of the highlights of this season.
